Pretty for Valentine’s Day

Hairy legs? Monobrow? Plucked chicken skin? Chipped nails? And that’s just the men! I think we can all admit none of that list sounds very appealing or if it does, you are into more specialised things than I am willing to go into on this blog! It’s that time of the year again when flowers double in price as if shops are surprised that February 14 comes round every year (note flowers from a garage are NEVER acceptable gentlemen) and chocolate becomes less of a “darling could you pick me up a bar on your way home” to “There had better be a box of the stuff the size of a small child when I go downstairs”. I know. We’ve all been there and we’ve all been disappointed!

Lots of restaurants and such are having special Valentine’s Day menus, but I think it is much more romantic to actually cook your other half something – that is if you actually can cook! If you can’t, be kind to everyone and go out for the evening.

Aside from restaurants, some of the spas in Muscat are having special offers during February to help get you at least looking the part of Juliet – but hopefully you will have a much less tragic end! There is even an offer to get your Romeo pampered so here are a couple of the ones I have spotted.
